PCI IDE Controller error in Device Manager

I cannot access drivers from CD, because I can't see them.

Both my Hdd and CD-ROM drives are Ultra Dma certified and I used them succesfully with Ultra DMA function enabled on a preceding system using Win95 retail. I have never used Win XP but, if your motherboard allows you to boot off the CD-ROM drive. then boot off the CD-ROM (or DVD) with the Win XP cd in the drive then Win XP After I reformatted it I think this 8mb has disapeared?! System doesn't hung totally, but process tryed to read CD can't be killed even by 9th signal. Problems disapeared if the CD drive is the only device in ide bus. I had similar problems when ide disk was jumpered as `single' with NEC CDR:273 which now works perfectly. But now all jumpers ok. Ilya.
